“If you are thinking about entering the awards this year, I’d encourage you to really go for it!” Louise Baxter, manager of the National Trading Standards (NTS) Scams Team, winners of the 2016 Excellence in Fraud Awareness Award

** Congratulations to all the winners of the 2019 Awards. **

Below are the Government Counter Fraud Awards categories.

They are designed to showcase a broad range of counter fraud and anti-corruption cases, initiatives and projects.

For the 2019 Awards we introduced two new categories – ‘Outstanding International Collaboration’ in recognition of the borderless nature of fraud and ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Government Counter Fraud Profession (GCFP)’, which acknowledges the significant work being done to establish the profession.

Entries are open to UK public sector employees working in counter fraud. This includes any individual or team working in local government or in a central government agency or department.

Charities and private sector organisations can also be nominated but only for the ‘Outstanding Collaboration’ and ‘Outstanding International Collaboration’ awards and in conjunction with a public sector organisation.

If you are unsure which category best suits you or your team’s work, please contact Richard Slifer at: richard.slifer@cipfa.org
